DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAMS
Florida State College Jacksonville and San Jose Prep have an agreement that allows qualified students to participate in dual enrollment courses. These courses are college courses. During the day, courses are offered on campus at San Jose, and there are also dual enrollment courses offered on the FSCJ campus during the school day and evenings and online through Doral College. Upon successful completion of dual enrollment courses, students receive high school credit and college credit hours. If a course is offered at San Jose Prep the course must be taken on San Jose Prep campus
The criteria for dual enrollment courses are as follows:
- Must have a cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 for part time/3.5 for full time (early admission)
- Must provide ACT, SAT, or PERT test score before registering. Some courses require a passing score.
- Must have teacher, counselor, and parent approval
- Must maintain a minimum of C or higher at semester in each dual enrollment class. Instructional materials assigned for use within dual enrollment courses must be purchased by the student.
